The dormitory is located in the centre of Hajdúböszörmény, but in a quiet environment, in the campus area. It is within walking distance of a pharmacy, a surgery, a supermarket and a bakery. It is also near the central bus station. The railway station can be easily reached from the dorm as well.
There is a 24-hour reception at the hostel.
The rooms at the hostel are six-bedded, but are sub-divided into two 3-bedded bedrooms with a desk for every student. In the hall a shower, a toilet and a fridge can be found as well as a wardrobe (with a key) for each student.
There is a communal washing machine in the basement of the hostel, which works with tokens. The tokens (priced 50 HUF) can be purchased at the reception. You can dry your clothes in the bedroom where there is a clothes-horse.
In the buildings there are two kitchens and every room has a separate lockable kitchen cupboard. Students are provided a microwave oven, a sandwich maker, a coffee maker and an electric kettle. There is also an electric cooker and oven which can be used for cooking and baking. Students can do the washing up in the kitchen as well.
Students can iron their clothes in the laundry in the basement. The iron can be borrowed from the reception of the hostel.
There are three dayrooms in the building where students can study, talk or watch TV.
In the basement a gym can be found and bikes can be rented at the reception as well. These services are free of charge.

Smoking in the rooms or in the corridors of the hostel is strictly forbidden. Smoking is allowed only outside the building in the designated areas.
The dormitory bill is 24.000 HUF/month. The accommodation fee has to be paid in cash for 5 months (one whole semester) even if the student stays for a shorter period at the reception or via the NEPTUN system.
In the campus area there is a canteen where students can have lunch on weekdays and there is also a snack bar.
